Step-by-Step Guide to Reconstitution

Determine Reconstitution: Note the total mg in your vial and the mL of bacteriostatic water you plan to add.
Standard Mode: Use the Dosage Calculator if you know your desired dose in mcg/mg and need to know how many units to draw.
Reverse Mode: Use the Reverse Calculator if you are already drawing a certain number of units and want to know the exact dose you are receiving.
Reconstitute Gently: Inject water slowly down the side of the vial. Swirl gently; do not shake.
Measure Accurately: Always use a U100 insulin syringe where 100 units = 1 mL for these calculations.
